What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin pieces of porcelain designed to replicate the look and feel of a natural tooth. Not only are veneers the same color as teeth, but they provide strength comparable to the natural enamel of the tooth.

Once Dr. Matthew receives a patient's veneers, it's time for the last step. The last step of the veneers process involves bonding the veneers directly onto the teeth. This is done through the use of special bonding cement and light. When the light is applied to the cement, is causes the veneer to quickly bond to the tooth. Once this procedure has been finished, a patient is left with a smile that is beautiful and corrected! Through proper oral hygiene and dental care, it's possible for veneers to last for years.
